Terms of Service

Welcome to Strutt Audio Visual! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Strutt Audio Visual's website, services, and products. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services.

  1. Services Provided
    Strutt Audio Visual ("we," "us," or "our") provides professional audio and video production services for podcasts and other media. Our services include, but are are not limited to, audio editing, video editing, mixing, mastering, noise removal, color correction, custom intros/outros, trailers, social media clips, and custom music composition. Detailed descriptions of services and pricing packages are available on our website.

  2. Client Responsibilities

    • Provision of Materials: You ("the client") are responsible for providing all necessary raw audio, video footage, music, scripts, logos, and any other materials required for the completion of your project in a timely manner and in the agreed-upon format.

    • Clear Communication: It is the client's responsibility to communicate all specific editing requirements, provide any extra footage, and submit comprehensive editing notes before work commences. This ensures clarity and minimizes the need for extensive changes during the revision process.

    • Intellectual Property: You warrant that you own or have obtained all necessary licenses, rights, and permissions for any materials you provide to Strutt Audio Visual for use in your project. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Strutt Audio Visual from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the infringement of third-party intellectual property rights related to materials you provide.

  3. Ordering and Pricing

    • Consultation: We recommend contacting us to discuss specific requirements before placing an order, especially for custom projects, bulk orders, or services not explicitly covered in standard packages.

    • Pricing: Pricing is based on the raw footage duration and the selected service package. Should your raw footage exceed the time allowance of your chosen package, you will be required to upgrade to the next appropriate package. All prices are subject to change without prior notice, though pricing for confirmed orders will be honored.

    • Custom Orders: For custom orders, a detailed quote will be provided and must be approved by the client before work commences.

  4. Payment Terms

    • Upfront Payment: For all projects, full payment or a minimum of 50% of the total project cost is required upfront before any work on the project will commence.

    • Final Payment: The remaining balance, if any, is due upon completion of the project and before the final, high-resolution project files are made available for download.

    • Payment Methods: We currently accept payments via Wise (which supports various card types) and PayPal. We plan to expand our accepted payment methods in the future.

  5. Non-Payment Clause
    In the event that final payment is not received after the delivery of the completed project files (e.g., watermarked previews, low-resolution versions, or temporary download links), Strutt Audio Visual reserves the right to take appropriate action. This may include, but is not limited to, placing a copyright claim on the delivered content, rendering the content ineligible for the client's commercial or public use until full payment is made, or pursuing legal action for outstanding amounts. Use of delivered content without full payment constitutes a breach of these Terms.

  6. Turnaround Time
    Our maximum turnaround time is 3 business days for Basic and Standard packages, and 4 business days for Premium packages. We generally aim to deliver projects in less time than these maximums. Turnaround times for custom projects will be agreed upon during the quoting process. Delays in client communication or material provision may affect the delivery schedule.

  7. Revisions
    Our standard service includes 2 rounds of revisions to ensure your satisfaction. These revisions are intended for minute changes and adjustments within the scope of the original project brief and the information provided upfront. Extensive changes, new requests, or additional edits that significantly alter the initial scope after work has begun will be subject to additional charges.

  8. Delivery of Final Project
    Upon receipt of final payment, completed projects will be delivered digitally via a cloud storage link sent to your email address. These links will remain active and the files accessible for 7 calendar days from the date of delivery. It is the client's responsibility to download and backup their files within this period. If the client requires the files to be kept for a longer duration, this must be requested in writing. Strutt Audio Visual will not be responsible for files that are no longer available after the 7-day period if no extended retention was requested.

  9. Refund Policy
    Due to the custom and labor-intensive nature of our creative services, refunds are generally not issued once work has commenced on a project. However, if an order was placed by mistake and work has not yet begun, or for other eligible circumstances (to be determined by Strutt Audio Visual), a refund may be processed within approximately 30 days of approval. Please contact us directly to discuss your specific situation.

  10. Confidentiality
    Strutt Audio Visual agrees to keep all client-provided materials and project details confidential and will not share them with third parties without your express consent, except as required for project completion or by law.

  11. Limitation of Liability
    Strutt Audio Visual shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the services; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the services; or (c) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content.

  12. Changes to Terms
    We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
